YOUNG NETHERLANDS WIND ENSEMBLE

The youngNBE (“Young Netherlands Wind Ensemble”) is a wind ensemble for young top talents from the Dutch music conservatories. Ten young musicians are part of the learning trajectory for two years, during which they take the stage on average 20 times a year. The youngNBE is coached by the musicians of the NBE.

During their training, the musicians are given every opportunity to develop themselves . The focus is on making programmes, stage presence, strengthening the bond with the audience, entrepreneurship and enthusiasm. This allows them to grow into professional musicians of the 21st century.

Thanks to the support of Fonds 1999, the youngNBE 2020 – 2021 program could be continued. Despite the complicated COVID-time, the musicians have been able to develop further in an innovative way and successfully complete the learning process.
