The Royal Conservatory is an inclusive place in Amare (The Hague), buzzing with energy, where students from all over the world are trained to play music or dance at the highest level. However, it is not self-evident for every talent to choose the best education. Thanks to Fonds 1999, six talented people could study at the Royal Conservatoire in 2023 with a Fonds 1999 Scholarship. These special talent grants were awarded to promising students who could study and develop themselves at the Royal Conservatoire thanks to these grants. During the academic year they more than fulfilled the promise with their efforts, their performance and their learning ability. Pablo Cruz, a talented jazz saxophonist and composer from Cuba, also received a grant. Thanks to Fonds 1999, not only did his dream come true, his talent and musical background also had a positive impact on the entire department and the Royal Conservatoire.
