©2026 Kamermuziek in de koningszaal

Since the reopening of the King’s Hall (Koningszaal) at ARTIS/Groote Museum in 2022, KaMuKoZa (Kamermuziek in de Koningszaal) has grown into a distinctive and indispensable player within Amsterdam’s cultural life. On Sunday mornings, this concert series in one of the city’s oldest halls offers a varied programme in which top musicians and young talent reinforce one another, with accessible presentations full of interaction between audience and musicians. Children up to the age of 12 are admitted free of charge, making it easy for families to discover classical music in a relaxed atmosphere where music, nature and science come together. The combination of an international level of musicianship, a historic hall and a warm, welcoming atmosphere proves an irresistible formula, resulting in regularly sold-out concerts. Thanks in part to a donation from Fonds 1999, this unique concert series was able to grow further in 2026, allowing even more families and young music lovers to discover the magic of classical music in an accessible way.
