Stichting Komma records the life story of terminally ill parents

Stichting Komma helps terminally ill parents with children aged 18 or younger to leave a lasting memory in the form of a Comma: a high-quality, ethically recorded video portrait that is made by a professional cameraman and a conversation facilitator who guides the parents in telling their stories. their life story. So that the parent can still give as many memories and life lessons as possible. With a donation from Fonds 1999 many children were given a Comma in 2022.

It gives children the opportunity to form a more complete picture of their parent later on, to hear the voice, the laughter, the intonation whenever there is a need; see the look and the facial expressions and get answers to questions that may arise throughout life.

The Comma allows the parent to live on and their closeness to be felt. The value for both the parent and the children turns out to be even greater than was conceivable at the time of establishment. The Comma makes all the difference in the lives of a young family whose parent will one day receive the message that he/she must start preparing for death.
