The Ricciotti ensemble is the only symphonic street orchestra in the Netherlands. Founded in 1970, it has one mission: play (classical) music, everywhere and for everyone.

In the spring of 2019 Ricciotti celebrated the 100 years anniversary of the first radio broadcast in the Netherlands, with a programme that brought instantly recognizable tunes like the Fifth of Beethoven – worldwide the most famous radiotune – and a medley of radio jingles. In more than thirty performances all over the Netherlands, the ensemble played a.o. in hospitals, centres for asylum seekers, schools and – of course – in the streets.
