OPENEMBASSY – UKRAINE ACTION RESEARCH
OpenEmbassy ensures that newcomers can find their way in the Netherlands sensibly, equally and smoothly. One tool they use for this is action research. With the Ukraine action research, which was funded with a donation by Fonds 1999, OpenEmbassy directly supported 20 people who fled to the Netherlands as a result of the war in Ukraine. By working directly with people and supporting them, they learn how to access all the facilities the Netherlands has to offer in order to build their new life as quickly as possible.
The way OpenEmbassy now hosts and receives Ukrainians is new. OpenEmbassy learns a lot from these experiences. Lessons they use to improve themselves in the future. This benefits the people who have fled from Ukraine and at the same time benefits anyone new to the Netherlands.
