NFCA is there for the more than 300,000 children and young people in the Netherlands between the ages of 0 and 21 who grow up in poverty. NFCA helps them, unconditionally, with something big or small. So that they have equal opportunities for the future, like any other child.

The children always notice that there is little money at home, especially in the summer. NFCA therefore helped these children for the fifth year in a row with a little extra summer fun: a backpack full of fun stuff. From a carefree day of fun in an amusement park to a trip to the cinema. But also a reading book, water pistol, football and much more. Things that seem very ordinary, but really make a difference for these children during the long summer holidays.

Thanks in part to a donation from Fonds 1999, these children were also able to tell something nice about their summer adventures after the school holidays.
