NATIONAL FUNDS FOR HELP FOR CHILDREN – SUMMERFUN ACTION

Nationaal Fonds Kinderhulp (National Fund for Help for Children) supports more than 300,000 children and young people (0-21 years) in the Netherlands who grow up in poverty. NFK helps them, unconditionally, with something big or small. This enables them to be the same as every other child and get equal opportunities for the future.

Children notice the lack of money at home, especially during the summer. NFK therefore helped these children in 2022 with some extra summer fun: 6,000 children received a bag full of fun things. From a carefree day of fun in an amusement park to a trip to the cinema. But also a reading book, beach ball set, football, craft stuff and much more. Things that seem very ordinary, but that really make a difference for these children during the long summer holidays.

Thanks to a donation from Fonds 1999, they were also able to tell something nice about their summer after the holidays.
