KINDERGASTHUIS DE BOEG
Kindergasthuis de Boeg offers sick children and their families a place of rest during a turbulent time in their lives. There are three suites where families with a sick child can stay while the child is undergoing treatment at the Radboudumc Amalia children’s hospital. This is a form of care between a stay in the hospital and returning home. After nine years of intensive use for hundreds of families, it was necessary to freshen up De Boeg and replace a number of things. Partly thanks to a donation from Fonds 1999, De Boeg could be painted on the inside, mattresses could be replaced and duvets could be taken to the dry cleaners. The lighting was partly replaced by LED lighting. Outside, the trampoline could be replaced, the playhouse has been renovated and a shed has been installed for garden furniture. This way, Kindergasthuis de Boeg is able to receive families carefree in the coming years.
