GIPSOTECA – MUSEUM BEELDEN AAN ZEE
The Gipsoteca is an educational space with a collection of approximately 1000 sculptures. Here, students and visitors gain insight into how sculptors deal with the creative process, with their assignment and with a finally completed sculpture that has been conceived for a specific place in the public space. However, the Gipsoteca was quite dark.
With the contribution of the 1999 Fund, the Gypsoteca in the Museum Beelden aan Zee is once again visible. With an inviting plaster vestibule, three different routes along all the sculptures, a pleasant workspace and a renewed workshop offer, Musuem Beelden aan Zee can encourage visitors even better to give meaning to what they see, experience and/or create. This is contagious and contributes to a cheerful, educational, and positive experience for the young and old.
