FOUNDATION KUNST IN DE HEILIGE DRIEHOEK – H3H BIENNIAL

© 2023 h3h biënnale

Foundation Kunst in de Heilige Driehoek organizes a biennial of international allure every two years. This special art route takes place in the area ‘De Heilige Driehoek’, in Oosterhout (NB), the only place in the Netherlands where a combination of three active monasteries still exists. The unique monastery area serves as inspiration for contemporary art exhibitions. For the third time, art lovers and cultural heritage enthusiasts could wander past park-like gardens, vast farmlands and old avenues where works of art by 27 artists were exhibited. Most works of art were created especially for this biennale. A special education project for schools was set up together with h19 center for the arts. 3000 students participated and all 3000 works they created – in A4 format – were presented in the biennial. The h3h biennial could be visited from June 3 to July 16, 2023 and was made possible by a donation from Fonds 1999.
