DUTCH CHAMBER CHOIR TALENT PROGRAM-NKK NXT
In the NKK NXT talent program, every year a new group of young singing professionals is hired by the Dutch Chamber Choir as an employee: for six months they search for an answer to the question ‘what will a choral concert look like in 50 years?’ NKK NXT stimulates their development as broadly oriented ensemble singers, who, in addition to the craft of singing together also develop authorship, vision and entrepreneurship. During the entire program, the trainees are assisted in singing technically and on a personal level by the professionals of the Dutch Chamber Choir. From the acquired knowledge and inspiration, the trainees of NKK NXT develop their own sound and learn to develop an innovative and authentic vocal performance. This is then brought to the stage at the end of the program. Fonds 1999 has contributed to the 2020/2021 edition.
