COBRA MUSEUM OF MODERN ART – ‘FRIDA KAHLO &DIEGO RIVERA: A LOVE REVOLUTION
With ‘Frida Kahlo & Diego Rivera: A Love Revolution’, the Cobra Museum of Modern Art showed a special private collection with top art from Mexico for the first time in the Netherlands, offering the opportunity to discover the world of the world-famous Mexican modernists. The core of the exhibition consisted of twenty-three iconic works by Kahlo, including some of her most famous self-portraits. With support from Fonds 1999, it was possible to organize various guided tours and workshops as part of the exhibition. Primary-, secondary-, MBO- and HBO-education students have been able to get acquainted with the arts. Despite the limited possibilities during the corona crisis, the Cobra Museum has managed to offer visitors both physical and digital guided tours.
