The objective of the cultural and artistic holiday activities of Muziekcentrum 1001 Nachten (Music Center 1001 Nights) is to make it accessible and accessible for children to discover and develop his or her talents during the holidays. In the period when the children in The Hague do not have school, there is a great need for accessible cultural and artistic activities. Especially in this time the children, often from a vulnerable target group, desperately need an outlet. Thanks to a contribution from Fonds 1999, the Music Center can look back on 4 very successful courses in the summer of 2021, during which it was able to introduce more than 294 children from The Hague to a musical instrument. This has proved to be very valuable for the target group.
