The Bee Education Foundation Netherlands (BEFN) is a foundation that makes a substantial contribution to the food supply of humans and animals by improving the living conditions of bees in the Netherlands. And wants to make people aware of bee deaths and what the consequences are.

The (BEFN) is a national voluntary organization based in Vorden. Here is the office and the Bee Education Centre with a demonstration and testing garden of 6000 m2 that can be visited during open days. In this orchard with various standard fruit trees, demonstration fields and flower borders have been created with bee-friendly plants. The Bee Education Centre has a website with an online platform that offers about 40 courses with information about the way bees live, how to recognize bees and what they need in terms of food and nesting facilities. The BEFN has the ambition to develop further as a national platform and authority in the field of bees and food supply through national projects.
