The Playground Gang is an initiative of the Disabled Child Foundation (DCF). It is a cool club for children with and without disabilities that makes it possible to play outside together. Too often children with disabilities are sidelined. By encouraging playing together in the neighbourhood, children meet and develop friendships. The Playground Gang helps by giving tips and play material.

Thanks to a contribution by Fonds 1999 it was possible for DCF to carry out all parts of the Playground Gang project. DCF has been able to support more playgrounds with a Play Together Day and has been able to make a substantial start in building up local Playground Gangs. In addition, the contribution has helped to build up the new form of the Playground Gang.
