NATIONAAL FONDS KINDERHULP – SUMMER FUN CAMPAIGN
Nationaal Fonds Kinderhulp is available to more than 300,000 children and young people (0-21 years) in the Netherlands who are growing up in poverty. It does not go unnoticed by children if there is little or no money at home. Especially in the summer when they hear their classmates talking about vacations and other fun summer plans. Then it becomes painfully clear that they are going to have a different summer than other children. Nationaal Fonds Kinderhulp therefore helped these children with a little extra summer fun. This included tickets for a day at the amusement park, a fun ball and a cinema ticket for a fun movie. Things that seem very ordinary but really make a difference for these children during the long summer holidays. No fewer than 7,000 children received a backpack full of fun items. Partly thanks to a donation from Fonds 1999, they too were able to experience a summer full of fun.
