ROYAL CONSERVATORY- TALENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Thanks to the support of Fonds 1999, the first five students were able to graduate in 2024 with a Fonds 1999 Top Scholarship. This also applies to the versatile Benjamin Perry Wenzelberg – conductor, composer, pianist and countertenor. During the two-year master’s programme, these talents proved their exceptional commitment, creativity and growth. With their achievements, they demonstrated how essential financial support is for the development of top talent. In 2024, a Fonds 1999 Development Scholarship was awarded to César Ramos Hernández, a student of the National Master Orchestral Conducting from Cuba. Thanks to the scholarship, he can fully focus on this challenging study and make optimal use of the opportunities to build a Dutch/European network – an essential basis for an international career.
